Bwiza Home Request!

I want to share about a young child who has just moved into Bwiza Home in Burundi.

Suzanne got a phone call from his mother in the hospital saying, “I’m very sick and I’m afraid I may die and leave my son without anybody to care for him…please help my son. I don’t have anybody to take him if I die.”

Suzanne knew his mother because she had been trained in Suzanne’s sewing class in 2005/2006. This woman got married, had a son, and one year after her husband died. After working very hard she became sick and also passed away.

We just invited this young boy to live in his new home, joining a new family, since his mother passed away.

He has been living at Bwiza Home for two weeks. He has received a new school uniform, shoes and a backpack. “His face has already changed and he is very happy to get a new family after the death of his mother.”

We used emergency funds to help him immediately, but we need new monthly sponsors. Please reach out if you are interested in making a monthly commitment to stabilize and protect vulnerable lives, giving them a hope and a future. He is one of three children who just moved in.
