BethanyKids is a wonderful organization that Touch the Nations has the privilege of supporting in Ethiopia. Here is a recent update:
In October BethanyKids started its work at Myungsung Christian Medical Center (MCMC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Dr. Frehun Ayele and Dr. Dan Poenaru are providing surgical care. Several patients from the Horn have already come for treatment.
They have a woman working half a day every day (for free!) as a patient counselor, chaplain and unofficial social worker. She has been a blessing. Many poor patients have heard about the free surgeries and are coming to the hospital. We are very encouraged!
