Here are more pictures of the donations being received by the camps for amputees and war wounded in Sierra Leone. We distributed clothes and shoes at several camps.
To give you a size of two of the camps, there are 50 houses in the Kenema Camp, with 400 victims and dependents. 150 students and nine children of war victims are housed at the camp. At the Bo Camp, 86 amputees and dependents live in five houses.
We are hoping to help fulfill the needs for wells, micro loans, scholarships and latrines in both camps. Thank you to everyone who donated resources and time in 2011 to make this possible. So many lives were touched by your generosity.
