The children at Bwiza Home are growing up dramatically. One boy had a serious eye problem that forced him to drop out of school last year but this year he was able to resume studying. Four more youth moved on to the secondary school by passing the national test. This makes a total of 7 secondary school students at Bwiza Home.As we promised the older street boys, if they built a 2 room mud-brick house on the land their parents had owned before the genocide, we would provide the iron sheets to make a roof. We have covered one house and plan to do the same for 3 others in 2015. We are encouraged that some of the former street boys have married and started families of their own.
